Supporting Homeless & Vulnerables
We support poverty and relief services and we have made a number of interventions in 2018/19. We have now widen to the project for 2020
WE WANT MAKE A CHANGE
Community, Welfare and Relief of Poverty: This is mainly to compliment the efforts of other services providers and organisations in the UK. The purpose is to support organisations and individuals overcome challenges and achieve their goals. To it also supports individuals in distress and challenging situation to help them become independent and productive members of the society. The Association is also committed to explore this challenge and make a difference. Our dedicated team deeply motivated to make a difference where necessary.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Support community initiative projects both in the UK and The Gambia. The Association is working with partners in order to offer its support in helping them progress. Recent donations have been made to homeless complex in Reading UK. The Association was thanked for taking this move.

We want to provide financial support and material support to needy individuals, The association has made numerous donations to individuals in the past and it has intended to continue to support many more in its journey to support welfare.

Its aim is to set out clear guidelines to tackle these issues and achieve its goal by making a difference in poverty. SUPPORT THE HOMELESS
We want to provide support to the homeless and other vulnerable groups. It is our intention to facilitate the necessary help in our capacity to accelerate that drive where many homeless individuals can benefit from the scheme. We want you to support us to be able to make this possible. with your donation, we will able to support many individuals and vulnerable groups.
Disaster and Emergency Support
Offer financial support to our members who are in real need of financial support. This is applicable to members who have become unemployed and have families to look after, members who are sick or bedridden with very limited support available to them or members who are involved in some sort of an accident or suffered some kind of a disaster that have serious adverse effect in their ability to look after their parents.

Donations Made To CIRDIC Foundation
The association made a donation to the CIRDIC Foundation. We wish to do more by supporting vulnerable individuals and we want to continue to make those impacts. Members were interviewed to give their thought regarding the donations make to the homeless. The chairman pointed out that this initiative will continue to make its voice heard by giving constant support.
Grants We Disbursed
Grants to organizations and individuals – cash donations amounting to £3,400.00 (Three thousand four hundred pounds) was donated to community groups and individuals to help in actualizing their goals and in relieving their hardships. These grants have resulted in the following

Poverty and Relief Project
The participation of one person in the England Deaf Men’s Football squad to compete at 2019 European Deaf Championships in Crete.
Enabling the Birmingham Gambian community to buy their own community center as a place of learning and, for religious and culture activities.
Relieving a member of the community of a serious financial difficulty to enable the children in the family return to school on time.
Donation to Join Hands to Safe Baby charity in their quest build theatre at Brikama Health Centre.
Donate towards the funeral arrangements of a Gambian, helping the family to repatriate the body to Gambia for burial.
